ABS Light: Testing and Inspection

1.

If warning lamp does not come on even when ignition switch is On, proceed as follows: 
a.

Check lamp bulb.

b.

Check warning lamp drive circuit.

c.

Check control unit power circuit.

2.

If warning lamp keeps on illuminating, proceed as follows: 
a.

Check short in warning lamp drive circuit.

b.

Check fail safe is working as a result of self-check.
