Radiator (and shroud if so equipped): Remove.
j.
Belts -- air conditioner compressor (if so equipped), alternator/water pump, power steering (if so equipped): Remove.
k.
Raise vehicle on hoist.
l.
"Under Cover" (stone/skid shield beneath oil pan): Remove.

Alternator: Remove.

Air conditioner compressor (if so equipped): Remove (5) bolts between mounting brackets and engine. (The brackets may remain attached to
the compressor). With compressor still attached to refrigerant lines, move compressor out of the way toward the left (driver's) side of vehicle.
Support the compressor in this temporary position to avoid damaging refrigerant lines.

Power steering pump (if so equipped): Disconnect and move to side.

Drain engine oil, replacing plug when drained.
q.
Oil pan: Remove.
r.
Lower hoist.
s.
Water pump hoses: Disconnect at water pump.
t.
Crankshaft pulley: Remove.
u.
Chain case cover: Remove. Take care not to damage cylinder head gasket.
NOTE:
Remaining steps are the same as for domestic vehicles. Proceed to Service Procedure Section A, Steps 5-13 for completion of repair.

When a vehicle has been serviced, submit the claim, using the DIAL System or Copy 2 of the Claim Form for our record of completion and for your
payment. If neither of these methods is available, the claim may be submitted on a WRO. (See Chapter 6, Warranty Policy and Procedure Manual, for
complete claim processing instructions.)
If using a WRO, enter only one claim on it. Fill in the labor operation number and time allowance and identify the claim as "Customer Satisfaction
Notification #356 - 2.6L Engine Oil Pump Relief Valve." Do not include other non-recall claims on the same WRO.
