Remove seal from front retainer. Use small chisel to collapse one side of seal then pry it out with small screwdriver or equivalent.

Remove bearing cup from front retainer as follows:

Assemble Puller Flange tool No. 6444-1 and Puller Rods tool no. 6453-1 or equivalents, as shown.
b.
Insert Puller Jaws tool No. 6453-1 or equivalent, in puller flange. Narrow lip of puller jaws will go under bearing cup.

Install assembled tools in front retainer. Ensure puller jaws are seated under bearing cup.
d.
Place Insert Tool No. 6453-2 or equivalent, in center of puller jaws. Insert tool is used to hold puller jaws in place.
