Remove carburetor air horn and accelerator pump assembly using service manual procedure.
4.
Drill through the accelerator pump shaft hole in the air horn using a 7/32" bit (Figure 1).
5.
Grind .050" from the lower end of "U" link (Figure 1).
6.
Reassemble accelerator pump assembly in the air horn with the "U" link reversed.
7.
Reinstall cover plate and air cleaner assembly. Check idle speed, reset if necessary.
