Install the serrated shoulder bolt.

Hold the head of the bolt using a wrench and pull the bolt through the bracket and frame by tightening the nut to 230 N-m (170 ft.lbs.).

Turn steering wheel lock-to-lock. Verify that steering gear bracket does not move.
7.
Install left front wheel.
8.
Check the position of the steering wheel while driving the vehicle in a straight line. If necessary, remove the steering wheel and reposition on
center.
Refer to the appropriate service manual for repositioning steering wheel instructions.
NOTE: ON 1991 VEHICLES, CAUTION SHOUID BE TAKEN TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE CLOCKSPRING IF THE STEERING WHEEL
IS REMOVED.
