The vacuum pump and power steering pump used on the Cummins Turbo Diesel is one assembly and is driven from a common shaft from the front gear
train. To service the vacuum pump, the complete assembly must be removed from the front gear housing. On 1992-93 models, the vacuum pump is not
serviceable and must be replaced as a unit.
