Manual Shut-down Lever: Description and Operation

Manual Shut-Down Lever

OPERATION

This lever is spring loaded in the RUN position, and is used to shut the engine off in the event of an emergency.  To shut the engine OFF, rotate
the lever counterclockwise until the engine has completely stopped running.  There is no linkage of any kind connected to the shut-down lever.

NOTE:  If the manual shut-down lever is partially actuated, fuel flow and engine power will be affected.
