Air Bag: Service and Repair
Driver Side Airbag Module Replacement
DRIVER AIR BAG MODULE, REPLACE
1. Disarm air bag as outlined.

2. Remove speed control switch or trim bar mounting screws from steering wheel underside, then pull switches or trim bar from wheel and unplug
connector.
3. Remove righthand rear steering wheel cover with small screw driver.
4. Remove air bag module attaching nuts, then remove air bag module.
5. Unplug air bag module electrical connector.
6. Reverse proceed to install and tighten nuts to specifications.
