Disconnect spark plug wires from spark plugs.

2.

Disconnect PCV hose and fuel evaporation control system hoses from cylinder head cover.

3.

Remove cylinder head cover and gasket.

4.

Remove four rocker shaft bolts and retainers.

5.

Remove rocker arm and shaft assembly.

6.

If rocker arm assemblies are disassembled for cleaning or replacement, refer to Fig. 6, for rocker arm identification and Fig. 7, for positioning on
the shaft. On engines with exhaust valve rotators, exhaust rocker arm must have relief for clearance.

Reverse procedure to install.
