Engine Oil Pressure: Testing and Inspection
1. Remove oil pressure sending unit.
2. Install Oil Pressure Line and Gauge Tool C-3292, or equivalent. Start engine and record pressure.
OIL PRESSURE:
At Curb Idle .............................................................................................................................................................................................. 41.4 kPa (6 psi)
At 3000 RPM .......................................................................................................................................................................... 207 - 552 kPa (30 - 80 psi)
CAUTION: If oil pressure is zero at curb idle, do not run engine.
