ABS Main Relay: Description and Operation
The Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) has two relays, one for the system and one for the pump motor. The system relay is used for the solenoid valves and
Controller Anti-Lock Brake (CAB). The system relay is connected to the CAB at the power control relay terminal. The pump motor relay is used for the
pump motor only. The pump motor relay starts/stops the pump motor when signaled by the CAB. The relays are located in the power distribution box in
the engine compartment.
