Shift Solenoid Position Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair
Removal

REMOVAL

NOTE: If the Transmission Solenoid/TRS Assembly is being replaced, the Quick Learn Procedure must be performed. See: Relays and Modules

1. Remove the valve body from the transmission.See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Valve Body/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

2. Remove the bolts (1) holding the transmission solenoid/TRS assembly onto the valve body.
3. Separate the transmission solenoid/TRS assembly from the valve body.
