NOTE: The following procedure applies only to the rear seat upper child tether straps used on quad cab vehicles.
1. Position the child tether strap (1) onto the cab back trim panel (2).
2. Install and tighten the screw (4) that secures the child tether strap to the upper cab back panel reinforcement (3). Tighten the screw to 14 Nm (10
ft. lbs.).
3. Reinstall the rear seat into the vehicle. See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Seat - Installation.
