Seat Heater: Service and Repair
Heater Pad - Removal
REMOVAL
NOTE: The factory installed heating elements can be removed from the foam cushions by carefully peeling the element off along the adhesive
lines.
1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the appropriate seat cushion, See: Seat Cover/Service and Repair/Seat Cushion Cover - Removal.
3. Disconnect the inoperative heated seat cushion or seat back element electrical connectors (2).
4. Remove the heating element by peeling it off the foam pad, being careful not to remove excessive foam in the process.
