NOTE:
This recall applies only to the above vehicles equipped with side airbag inflatable curtains (sales code CGS or CJ3) built through February 23, 2010
(MDH 022300).
IMPORTANT:
Some of the involved vehicles may be in dealer vehicle inventory. Dealers should complete this repair on these vehicles before retail delivery.
Dealers should also perform this repair on vehicles in for service. Involved vehicles can be determined by using the VIP inquiry process.
Subject
The Side Airbag Inflatable Curtain (SABIC) on about 4,800 of the above vehicles may not deploy during an Insurance Institute of Highway Safety side
impact test.
Repair
The Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) module must be reprogrammed (flashed).

Completion Reporting and Reimbursement
Claims for vehicles that have been serviced must be submitted on the DealerCONNECT Claim Entry Screen located on the Service tab. Claims
submitted will be used by Chrysler to record Customer Satisfaction Notification service completions and provide dealer payments.
