Using the 42 RLE Fluid Temperature Chart, find the transmission temperature vertical line matching the temperature value on the
StarSCAN tool. Move up the vertical temperature line until you arrive at your dipstick reading value.

If you are below the full line, add transmission fluid. If you are above the line, remove some fluid. Repeat as necessary.

Disconnect the StarSCAN cable from the DLC and remove the StarSCAN tool from the vehicle.

To prevent dirt from entering transmission, make certain that dipstick or the fill tube cap is fully seated into the dipstick opening.
