L. Lower the vehicle.
M. Verify proper brake operation before moving the vehicle.

Inspect the left and right front ABS wheel speed sensor wiring for wear due to contact with the splash shield (Figure 2).

If there are no wear marks or only minor scuff marks in the outer covering of the wheel speed sensor wiring, no further action is required.

If the outer covering of the wheel speed sensor wiring is abraded or notched, the affected wheel speed sensor must be replaced as follows:
A. Remove the sensor attaching bolt.
B. Remove the clamps that secure the sensor wire to the control arm and inner fender panel.
C. Disconnect the sensor wire connector from the wiring harness. Discard the sensor.
D. Install the new sensor in the steering knuckle. Tighten the bolt to 190 in-lbs (21 N.m).
E. Secure the sensor wire to the control arm and inner fender panel with the retaining clamps.
F. Connect the sensor wiring connector to the wiring harness.
G. Verify that the sensor wiring is clear of all suspension and steering components.

Claims for vehicles which have been serviced must be submitted on the DIAL System. Claims submitted will be used by Chrysler to record recall service
completions and provide dealer payments.
Use one of the labor operation numbers and time allowances:
Add the cost of the brake hose(s) and washers and/or the wheel speed sensor(s) plus applicable dealer allowance to your claim (if necessary).
