Coolant Reservoir: Service and Repair
Removal and Installation
Should the reserve/overflow tank become coated with corrosion or emulsifiable oil, it can be cleaned with detergent and water. Rinse tank thoroughly
before refilling cooling system as described in the Coolant section of this group.
REMOVAL
1. Remove battery positive and negative cables and battery.
2. Remove upper radiator closure panel.
3. Remove overflow hose at reserve/overflow tank.
4. Remove three (3) coolant recovery bottle screws and remove coolant bottle from vehicle.
INSTALLATION
1. Install coolant recovery bottle and three (3) Screws.
2. Install overflow hose to tank.
3. Install upper radiator closure panel.
4. Install battery.
5. Add coolant.
