Ignition Switch: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. On models with tilt column, remove tilt lever.
3. Remove upper and lower steering column covers.

4. Remove ignition switch mounting screws. Note the following:
^ Snap On torx tool No. TTXR20A2, or equivalent, is required.
5. Gently pull switch away from column and release two connector locks on seven pin terminal wiring connector, then remove connector from
ignition switch.
6. Release connector lock on key-in-switch and Halo light four pin terminal connector.
7. Remove key cylinder from ignition switch as follows:
