Brake Switch (Cruise Control): Testing and Inspection
1. Disconnect stop lamp switch four wire electrical connector, then connect a suitable 12 volt source to either terminal. Connect a suitable test lamp
between other lead and ground. Test lamp should light when brake pedal is in normal position and go off when brake pedal is lightly depressed.
2. If test lamp does not respond as indicated, stop lamp switch is defective or misadjusted.
3. Adjust stop lamp switch, then repeat test.
