Remove the three screws (two screws on the left and one screw on the right) that secure the center support bracket to the Airbag Control Module
(ACM) bracket on the floor pan transmission tunnel and remove the center support bracket (Figure 4).

Remove the screw that secures the instrument panel wire harness ground eyelet to the left side of the floor pan transmission tunnel.

Unplug the ACM wire harness connector. To unplug the connector, first pull the two white locks out about 3 mm (0.125 in.) from each side of the
connector (Figure 5). Then squeeze the two connector latches between the thumb and forefinger, while pulling the connector out from the ACM.
