Washer Fluid Level Switch: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Remove the washer reservoir as described.
NOTE: The pivoting float of the washer fluid sensor must be in a horizontal position within the reservoir in order to be removed. With the
reservoir empty and held in an upright position, the pivoting float will orient itself to the horizontal position when the sensor connector is pointed
straight downwards.
2. Gently pry the washer fluid level sensor out of the rubber grommet seal. Care must be taken not to damage the reservoir.
3. Remove the rubber grommet seal from the reservoir and discard.
4. Reverse the removal procedures to install. Always use a new rubber grommet seal on the reservoir.
