Oil Pump: Service and Repair
Oil Pump Replacement
1. Remove oil pan.
2. Remove oil pump from rear main bearing cap.
3. Reverse procedure to install, slowly rotating pump body to ensure proper driveshaft to pump rotor engagement. Hold pump flush against mating
surface and finger tighten bolts, then tighten to specifications.
