Fuel Pressure: Testing and Inspection

To test for fuel leaks, using the DRB II (or equivalent) scan tool, perform the following procedure:

1.

Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

2.

Access the ASD Fuel System Test.  This will activate the fuel pump and pressurize the fuel system.

NOTE:  The ASD Fuel System Test will continue for 7 minutes or until the test is stopped with the scan tool, or until the ignition switch is rotated to the
OFF position.
