Front Seat Cushion Comfort

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Front of seat cushion is too low and/or not enough thigh support. Customer may describe as a feeling of sliding forward off the seat.

Flat Washer/Spacer
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
This bulletin involves the addition of 2 or 3 flat washer/spacers at each front adjuster screws.
1.
Remove the front seats.
NOTE:
FOR SPLIT BENCH (60/40) SEATS, DISCONNECT THE DRIVER'S SIDE INBOARD SEAT BELT & BUCKLE ASSEMBLY AND WIRING
FROM THEIR FLOOR CONNECTIONS. THEN REMOVE THE BELT AND BUCKLE ASSEMBLY WITH THE SEAT.
2.
Lay the seat assembly on its back on a clean work surface.
3.
Loosen the screws holding the seat adjusters to the seat cushion frame.
4.
Loosen the front seat adjuster screws until they are free of the seat frame.
