Vacuum Brake Booster: Service and Repair
Power Brake Booster - Removal
REMOVAL
1. Remove master cylinder (4). See: Hydraulic System/Brake Master Cylinder/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Brake Master Cylinder
- Removal.
2. Disconnect vacuum line (6) at booster.
3. Remove the brake lamp switch and discard it. Do not reuse the stop lamp switch.See: Lighting and Horns/Brake Light Switch/Service and
Repair/Stop Lamp Switch - Removal.
4. Remove clip (1) securing booster push rod (3) to brake pedal See: Brake Pedal Assy/Service and Repair/Brake and/or Accelerator Pedals -
Removal.
