2. Remove the glove box (4) from the instrument panel (2). See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Glove Compartment/Service and

Repair/Instrument Panel Glove Box - Removal.

3. Reach behind the upper glove box opening to access and depress the retaining latch on either side of the glove box lamp and switch (3).
4. While holding the retaining latch depressed, push the glove box lamp and switch unit out through the mounting hole in the face of the instrument

panel.

5. Disconnect the wire harness connector (1) from the glove box lamp and switch.
6. Remove the lamp and switch from the instrument panel.
