Install the new hub/bearing assembly (see Parts Required section) into the steering knuckle. lighten the bolts to 166 N.m (123 ft. lbs.).

Install the disc brake rotor.

Install the disc brake caliper/shoe assembly over the rotor and into the ledges in the steering knuckle. Be sure the ends of the brake shoes are
properly seated on the slide surfaces of the ledges.

Align the caliper in the adapter and install the caliper slide pins. Tighten the slide pins to 30 N.m (22 ft. lbs.).

If equipped, install the four wheel ABS front wheel speed sensor. Tighten the bolt to 18 - 25 N.m (160 - 220 in. lbs.).

Install the front axle nut. Tighten the nut to 235 N.m (173 ft. lbs.).

Install the wheel/tire assembly.

Perform steps 2 through 12 on the other side of the vehicle. If the 450 chamfer IS NOT on the steering knuckle, the steering knuckle and
hub/bearing assembly must be replaced, proceed to Step 13. If the 45° chamfer is on the steering knuckle, unless the bearing has failed, neither the
hub/bearing assembly nor the steering knuckle needs to be replaced. Re-install/replace the hub/bearing assembly into the steering knuckle. Tighten
the bolts to 166 N.m (123 ft. lbs.) then proceed to Step 15.
NOTE:
STEPS 2 - 12 MUST BE PERFORMED ON BOTH SIDES OF THE VEHICLE.
22.
Lower the vehicle.
