NOTE:
This recall applies only to the above vehicles equipped with side airbag inflatable curtains (sales code CGS or CJ3) built through June 13, 2007
(MDH 061306).
IMPORTANT:
Some of the involved vehicles may be in dealer vehicle inventory. Dealers should complete this repair on these vehicles before retail delivery.
Dealers should also perform this repair on vehicles in for service. Involved vehicles can be determined by using the VIP inquiry process.
Subject
The Side Airbag Inflatable Curtain (SABIC) on about 11,000 of the above vehicles may not deploy during an Insurance Institute of Highway Safety side
impact test.
Repair
The Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) module must be reprogrammed (flashed)
