Determine which rear axle type is used on this vehicle. Refer to the following graphics to help in identifying axle types (Fig. 4) (Fig. 5).

Using the DRBIII(R) select: MISC in the Antilock Brake menu. Then, SET PINION FACTOR.

NOTE:

THE DRBIII(R) MENU SCREEN CAN ONLY PROGRAM PRODUCTION SIZE TIRES THAT WERE CERTIFIED FOR THE VEHICLE
WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS MANUFACTURED. IF THE TIRES ON THE VEHICLE DO NOT MATCH TIRE SIZES AVAILABLE ON THE
DRBIII(R) MENU SCREEN, THEN THE TIRE ON THE VEHICLE WAS NEVER CERTIFIED FOR USAGE.

14.

Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position (engine not running).

15.

With the DRBIII(R), program the correct tire size and rear axle type.
