Exhaust Pipe To Manifold And Support Bracket-(2.5L)
5. On 2.5L equipped vehicles, remove the pipe to manifold nuts and remove exhaust pipe from the support bracket.
6. Remove exhaust pipe to converter exhaust clamp.
7. Disconnect the exhaust pipe from the catalytic converter front flange.
8. Remove the exhaust pipe.
INSTALLATION
1. Connect the exhaust pipe(s) to the exhaust manifold. Tighten the nuts to 32 Nm (25 ft. lbs.) torque.
2. On 2.5L manual transmission vehicles, position the exhaust pipe hook into the support bracket.
3. Align and connect the exhaust pipe to the catalytic converter flange . Install exhaust clamp and tighten clamp nuts to 47 Nm (35 ft. lbs.) torque.
4. Connect oxygen sensor connector(s).
5. Lower the vehicle.
6. Start the engine and inspect for exhaust leaks and exhaust system contact with the body panels. Adjust the alignment, if needed.
