If noise still continues, check turn Install silencer and reinstall knob. signal lever for a silencer. Pull knob off end of shaft (intermittent
wipers only) and insure that a foam silencer is seated inside the end of the turn signal lever cover or speed control switch.

Check to see if turn signal lever Trim shroud for clearance if noise stops. vibrates on column shroud.
8.
Lift up or press down on steering Replace horn roller if noise stops. wheel while noise continues to check horn roller.

If noises continue, refer to "Underhood" section.
Instrument Panel Center & Right Side (23-19-40-00)
Problem
Repair
1.
Check the glove box door latch by pushing Bend striker forward to tighten door. lightly on door.
2.
Check lock housing by touching lightly. Check to see if housing is installed properly. If knob is loose, replace it.
3.
Check for objects inside of glove box. Remove loose objects.
4.
Open glove box. If rattle stops or Remove glove box assembly and tuck something rubs on box, the A/C resistor wires forward. Clip or
