Speed Control Equipped Vehicles:
The speedo cable must be routed outboard of the air pump and above the heater hose going to the radiator.
The cable must not contact the diverter valve hose.
Manual Transaxles:
The two-piece cable cannot contact the diverter valve hose or the air cleaner. Adjust cable fore or aft to relieve this condition.
May require an additional tie strap to heater hose.
If buzz persists, speedo cable must be isolated from the instrument panel. Refer to speedo cable Technical Service Bulletin #21-13-83.
