1984 Model Year Vehicles

Locate the 5/16" diameter x 3/8" diameter x 10-1/4" long formed hose, PN 4300463, from kit, PN 4419438, and remove 1-1/4" from the 5/16"
diameter end. Assemble this onto the straight nipple of vacuum hose filter, PN 4397925 (Figure 3). Attach the 5/16" diameter x 3/8" diameter x
2-1/2" long formed hose, PN 4300464, to the 90~ nipple of vacuum hose filter, PN 4397925 (Figure 3). Connect the long hose to the in-line
connector (at the dash panel passenger side of the valve cover), and the short hose to the carburetor purge nipple (Figure 5).

Locate the 5/16" diameter x 3/8" diameter x 10-1/4" long formed hose, PN 4300463, from kit, PN 4419438, and attach onto the straight nipple
of vacuum hose filter, PN 4397925 (Figure 4). Obtain a 2-3/4" long piece of 3/8" diameter hose from roll stock, PN 4203421, and assemble
onto the 90~ nipple of vacuum hose filter, PN 4397925.
