1.
Remove the air cleaner assembly.
2.
Perform fuel system pressure release as follows:
a.
Loosen gas cap to release tank pressure.
b.
Disconnect injector wiring harness at location shown in Figure 1.
c.
Ground one terminal of the throttle body side connector.
d.
Connect a jumper wire to second terminal and touch the battery positive post for no longer than ten seconds. This releases the system
pressure.
e.
Remove the jumper wires but leave the harness disconnected.
3.
Remove the # 25 Torx screw holding down the injector cap.

With two small screwdrivers, lift the cap off the injector using the slots provided (Figure 2).
