Seat Belt: Service and Repair
Front Active Restraint System
Front Seat Outboard
Front Outer Seat Belts
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery.
2. Remove lower liftgate trim panel.
3. Remove door sill scuff plate.
4. Remove rear seat latch cover.
5. Remove lower quarter trim panel fasteners.
6. Remove lower quarter trim panel.
7. Remove rear header moulding.
8. Remove side garnish moulding.
9. Remove quarter window garnish moulding.
10. Remove coat hook.
11. Remove upper quarter trim panel fasteners.
12. Remove lower seat belt anchor bolt.
13. Remove upper quarter trim panel.
14. Remove speaker.
15. Remove upper "B" post seat belt anchor bolt.
16. Remove both seat belt retractor bolts and remove seat belt system through speaker opening.
INSTALLATION
1. Insert seat belt assembly through speaker opening and fasten to "B" post with screws provided.
2. Torque screws to 250 in. lbs. (28 Nm).
3. Install upper "B" post seat belt anchor bolt.
4. Torque bolt to 350 in. lbs. (40 Nm).
5. Install speaker.
6. Place seat belt lower anchor through opening in upper quarter trim panel and place trim panel into position.
7. Install seat belt lower anchor bolt and torque to 350 in. lbs. (40 Nm).
8. Install upper quarter trim panel fasteners.
9. Install coat hook.
10. Install quarter window garnish moulding.
11. Install side garnish moulding.
12. Install rear header moulding.
13. Install lower quarter trim panel.
14. Install lower quarter trim panel fasteners.
15. Install rear seat latch cover.
16. Install door sill scuff plate.
17. Install lower liftgate trim panel.
