Band: Adjustments
Rear Band Adjustment

Before adjustment is attempted, the low-reverse band should be checked for correct end gap as indicated above. To adjust band, proceed as follows:

1. Loosen locknut and back off nut approximately five turns.
2. Torque adjusting nut to 41 inch lbs.
3. Back off adjusting nut 3 1/2 turns.
4. Torque locknut to 10 ft-lbs.
