Using template No. 2, mark the new trim line on the fascia and cut it with a very sharp utility knife (Figure 14).

9.

Touch-up the cut edge of the fascia with MoPar Touch-Up paint.

10.

Install the tire and wheel and lower the vehicle.

11.

Check the tire-to-fascia clearance for a minimum of 1/4-inch (6.35 mm). If the clearance is acceptable, no further action is required.  If the
clearance is not acceptable, the fender will have to be shimmed at the front, continue on to step 12.

NOTE:

Body shims are available through local auto body supply shops. The shim(s) thickness must equal 3/16-inch (5 mm).
