Raise the vehicle on a hoist and remove the tire and wheel.
2.
Remove the two fascia-to-fender retainers in the wheel opening and the three lower splash shield-to-fender retainers and move the splash shield
away from the fender flange (Figure 10).
3.
Reposition the splash shield edge of the fender flange forward 1/8-inch (3 mm) with a mallet to help provide clearance to the splash shield.

Loosen the fender-to-lower closure panel retaining screw. Position the bottom of the fender outward as far as possible and tighten the screw to 105
in.lbs. (12 N-m) (Figure 11).
