Loosen the following fender attachments, the lower crossmember screw, the two front closure panel screws and the two forward upper fender side
shield screws (Figure 8).

Remove the front attaching bolt from the fender side shield and position the shim between the fender and the side shield (Figure 9).
15.
Tighten all screws to 105 in.lbs. (12 N-m) torque.
16.
Repeat Steps 1-15 on the opposite side of the vehicle.
