3. If test lamp does not light at motor terminal, there is an open in wiring or switch.
4. If test lamp lights, replace motor assembly.

MOTOR KEEPS RUNNING WITH SWITCH IN OFF POSITION

NOTE:  Remove wiring harness. Connect a jumper wire between terminals 1 and 3 on motor. Connect a second jumper wire from terminal 2 to battery
positive terminal. If motor runs to park position and stops, wiper switch is faulty. If motor continues to operate, replace motor assembly.

MOTOR WILL STOP WHEREVER IT IS WHEN SWITCH IS PLACED IN OFF POSITION; WIPERS DO NOT CONTINUE RUNNING
TO PARK POSITION

1. Disconnect motor wiring harness connector and clean terminals. Reconnect connector and test motor.
2. If condition persists, set wiper switch to Off position. Disconnect motor wiring connector. Connect a voltmeter to motor ground strap and other

lead to terminal 2 on harness connector.

3. If voltage is not present, check for an open circuit in wiring harness or wiper control switch.
4. If voltage is present, connect an ohmmeter between terminals 3 and 1.
5. If continuity exists, problem is a defective motor.
6. If no continuity exists, problem is an open circuit in wiper control switch or wiring harness.
