SYMPTOM/CONDITION
During cold weather, the driver may experience the accelerator pedal frozen in the idle position. A greater than normal amount of force will be required
to move or break the throttle blade free. This condition only occurs in cold ambient temperatures, below +5~F, and usually after the vehicle has been
sitting overnight.
DIAGNOSIS
Inspect for the presence of ice or water in the throttle body bore, or if the owner complains of the condition, proceed with the repairs.
