Air Injection Check Valve: Service and Repair
1. To replace the check valve, release clamp and disconnect air hose from check valve inlet.
2. Remove screws or tube nut securing injection tube to exhaust manifold or exhaust pipe.
3. Remove injection tube from engine.
4. Remove any gasket material remaining on exhaust manifold and injection tube flanges.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Torque flange mounting and injection tube bracket bolts to 200 inch lbs. On tube nut joint assemblies, torque tube nut
to 25-35 ft. lbs.
