Evaporative Emission Control Canister: Service and Repair
Installation
INSTALLATION - EVAP CANISTER
1. Slide the EVAP canister (2) into the mounting bracket and secure the three locking tabs (1).
NOTE: All vapor/vacuum lines and hoses must be firmly connected. Also check the vapor/vacuum lines at the EVAP canister purge solenoid
for damage or leaks. If a leak is present, a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) may be set.
2. Connect the quick-connect fitting (5) to EVAP canister.
3. Connect the rubber hose (2) to ESIM switch.
4. Connect the electrical connector (3) to ESIM switch.
5. If equipped, install the fuel tank skid plate.
6. Lower the vehicle.
