Sunroof Sunshade - Removal

REMOVAL

1. Remove the water channel. See: Sunroof / Moonroof Drain/Service and Repair/Sunroof Drain Channel - Removal 
2. Cycle sunroof motor to the open position.
3. Move sunshade towards the closed position stopping three to four inches from the closed position.
4. Depress the spring feet clips (1) in the cross car direction on one side of the sunshade by applying a side-load to the shade while pulling up at the

front centerline of the sunshade. This will cause one spring feet clip (1) to pop out of the track. 

5. Remove the other front foot by rotating the shade (1) out and the foot resting on the top of the sunroof frame (2).
6. Pull the shade farther forward in the vehicle and repeat the previous step to remove the rear spring feet.
7. Remove the sunshade (2).
