TPIM Coolant Recovery Container - Installation
TPIM COOLANT RECOVERY RESERVOIR
WARNING: On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, you must thoroughly read and follow all High Voltage Safety procedures. In
addition, before performing any diagnostic or service procedure near a high voltage component, you must perform the High
Voltage Power Down. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury See: Hybrid Drive
Systems/Battery System, Hybrid Drive/Service Precautions
1. Position the TPIM coolant recovery container (2) in the vehicle.
2. Install the mounting bolt. Tighten bolt to 10 Nm (88 in. lbs.).
3. Install the coolant hose (4) at the coolant recovery container (2)
4. Install the two lower coolant hoses (3).
5. Fill the TPIM cooling system See: Service and Repair/TPIM Cooling System Filling
6. Connect negative battery cable.
7. Perform HEV specific high voltage power up and high voltage isolation check safety procedures. See: Hybrid Drive Systems/Battery System,
