25. Remove the timing chain (5) See: Timing Components/Timing Chain/Service and Repair/Timing Chain & Sprockets - Removal
26. Remove the camshaft thrust plate (1).
NOTE: Slowly rotate the camshaft while pulling the camshaft out.
27. Install a long bolt (2) into the front of the camshaft (1) to aid in the removal of the camshaft. Remove the camshaft, being careful not to damage
the cam bearings with the cam lobes.
