1. Lubricate the camshaft lobes and camshaft bearing journals and insert the camshaft.
2. Using the sequence shown, position the camshaft thrust plate and install the retaining bolts and tighten to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the timing chain (5), crankshaft sprocket (3) and camshaft phaser (1) and tighten the camshaft phaser bolt to 122 Nm (90 ft. lbs.).See:
