25. Position the oil pan and install the mounting bolts and stud hand tight.
26. Using the sequence shown, tighten the bolts and stud to 12 Nm (9 ft. lbs.).
27. Position the flexplate on the crankshaft and install the retaining bolts hand tight.
28. Using the sequence shown, tighten the flexplate retaining bolts to 95 Nm (70 ft. lbs.).
CAUTION: To prevent severe damage to the crankshaft, damper, and damper installer 8512A, thoroughly clean the damper bore and the
crankshaft nose before installing damper.
29. Position the damper onto the crankshaft.
30. Assemble the damper installer 8512 (2) , and the pressing cup (1) from A/C hub installer 6871.
