Oil Intake Control Valve - Installation
INSTALLATION
WARNING: On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, you must thoroughly read and follow all High Voltage Safety procedures. In
addition, before performing any diagnostic or service procedure near a high voltage component, you must perform the High
Voltage Power Down. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury See: Hybrid Drive
Systems/Battery System, Hybrid Drive/Service Precautions
1. Install the oil control valve (OCV) (1).
2. Securely tighten the OCV fastener.
3. Connect the OCV electrical connector (2).
4. Install the intake manifold See: Intake Manifold/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Intake Manifold - Installation
5. Connect the 12 volt battery system ground isolation connector (1) located next to the electric vacuum pump (2).
6. Perform the HEV high voltage power up procedure See: Hybrid Drive Systems/Battery System, Hybrid Drive/Service and Repair/Battery System
